I recently got a new iPad for my birthday, mainly to use for the Daily Spark Project and other school stuff. I really wanted this new space to be aesthetically pleasing and fit my vibe. What’s my vibe you ask? There’s really no straight answer, the things I like can be found on several different parts of the spectrum. The theme I chose for the iPad was The Little Prince, by Antoine Saint-Exupery. This is one of my favorite books; I even put the prince on my high school graduation cap! Using my handy dandy color-coded Pinterest board of wallpapers, I found widgets and screensavers about the book and space in general. Where I struggled was finding app covers that were representative of the themes. So what did I do? Once again, I made life more complicated and decided to draw each one myself. Here’s what I have so far!
Ignore the fact that these are all different formants, I’m lazy and didn’t feel like being consistent which came back to bite me in the butt later : )
